Gifu University conducted a follow-up survey of about 30,000 men on Natto consumption as of 2008, 16 years!!!!!
Natto had a 32% lower risk of stroke death!!!
Since 1992, the Graduate School of Medicine, Gifu University has been conducting a follow-up survey of about 30,000 men and women living in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. As of 2008, 16 years later, there were 677 people who died of stroke. This time, we divided the analysis into four groups according to the intake of natto. They found that those who ate the most natto had a 32% lower risk of stroke death than those who ate very little. The overall cardiovascular disease also shows a 25% lower risk of death.
Natto has long been said to "make blood smooth", but it has been medically proven to be effective in preventing strokes that clog blood vessels in the brain.
According to this study, the intake of the group that ate the most natto was about 7 g per day (median in the group). The content of a round cup is about 30g, and if it is a square pack, it is 40 to 50g, so it is calculated that one or two packs are eaten a week.
